Capitol Center for the Arts Commission

This project was a commission for the Capitol Center for the Arts Bank of New Hampshire Stage. I made these comics to commemorate the long history of the building which went from being a bakery during the Civil War to a woman-run independent movie theatre for 61 years. Currently, the building is home to a new performance venue. The yellow frames used for this piece were originally used to hold movie posters and announcement from when the building was used as a movie theatre. The frames were reclaimed and painted and worked perfectly as panel borders for the comics.
