Laughable 

Logo & App Icon Design

I designed the logo for Laughable, an iOS app for listening to comedy podcasts and discovering new comedians. The app has been featured on the iTunes store and touted by many comedians. You can (and should!) download their iOS app here.

Laughable wanted to create a logo that was elegant, visually referenced comedy, and wasn't childish (as many comedy themed things are). For their logo, I incorporated the microphone, very important in the stand-up scene, into the "L." The L microphone works as a stand alone design element on their app icon as well.  

We decided to go with a black (or white) logo since it stood out in the app store among the more brightly colored app icons and kept with the elegant look we were going for.
